College Football Saturday - Celebrating our TROY Trojans

While we've spent several of our college football Saturdays at Illinois games this fall (woot!) we haven't had as much time to dedicate to the INCREDIBLE Troy Trojans, who have only lost ONE game so far this season by a few points to one of the top teams in the country, Clemson. In short, they're killing it this season!

I stocked up on many of our favorite weekend food items, including shrimp (per Troy's request) and bacon, and while I was planning bacon for breakfast, Troy and Daddy made the suggestion to turn the shrimp into our fav, bacon-wrapped shrimp, instead. Done! Lunch is served!

The kids got their Troy gear on and we headed outside by the Troy flag, waving proudly for this college football Saturday.

As a special treat, the kids and I made a surprise football cookie cake.

And when naptime came and ended early, Cass and I found ourselves relaxing in my bedroom for a bit.

We finished out the night with Cunningham cheesy beefy dip and a TROY win! Go Trojans!!!
